-
What does DunMax actually do?
It generates and organizes the contents of a tabletop world: characters, cities and towns, regions, factions, events and points of interest. Each one comes with written detail, optional AI art, and optional voice narration, and lives inside a world you can browse at the table.
-
Is it only for D&D?
No. It's system-agnostic — nothing is tied to a specific ruleset, so it works for D&D, Pathfinder, other TTRPGs, and plain fiction writing. Homebrew stats and system-specific fields can be added as custom attributes.
-
Can I write things myself instead of generating them?
Yes. You can add characters, cities, points of interest, regions, factions and events manually, and every generated field is editable. The AI is there to draft and to fill gaps, not to own your world.
-
What is gold?
Gold is the credit used for AI generation. A subscription includes 700 gold a month, which is roughly 700 creations. Browsing, editing and organizing what you've already made costs nothing.
-
How much does it cost?
Premium costs $6.95 a month or $69.95 a year and includes 700 Gold each month for AI generation. It also unlocks unlimited worlds and content export. You can also purchase Gold separately for pay-per-use generation without a subscription. See pricing.
-
Does it work offline?
No. DunMax is fully cloud-based and needs an internet connection to access your worlds and create, browse or edit content.
-
Can I get my content out of the app?
Yes, with a Premium subscription. Export creations to your clipboard for use elsewhere, or create shareable cards with customized content.
-
Which devices are supported?
iPhone via the App Store and Android via Google Play. Your worlds are tied to your account, so they follow you between devices.
-
How many worlds can I make?
Free accounts can create up to three worlds. A Premium subscription unlocks unlimited worlds. AI generation uses Gold.
